Issue 02
Dec 2009

Dear partners,

As the end of 2009 draws near, I want to take this opportunity to express our sincerest best wishes to you and your families this holiday season. This past year saw our transition from web host to software development firm. Though quiet, we have been busy in these final months of this year in preparation for what will be a banner year for us in 2010.

There is much to be done and the road ahead is long and challenging. Progress is steady and we look forward to milestones we will reach in the coming year.

Seasons greetings and Happy Holidays from the Sprynex team.

If you have any questions you can contact us through the Sprynex Forums or e-mail me directly at joe@sprynex.com. I welcome any and all input regarding how we can deliver value to your business.

Plan Management Made Easy

Looking Forward to Beta Phase

Plan Management Made Easy

One of Cheetah's cornerstone concepts is that you as a web hosting professional should not waste your precious time plodding around your control panel software. The concept of "Get in, get done" is demonstrated in part by how Cheetah empowers the administrator and reseller when upgrading and up-selling plans options.

One challenge commonly faced is individual customization. Let's say you have a "Silver Plan" with 100 accounts that were created using that plan. At some point, it is likely that you will adjust that plan to keep your offering competitive. What if, along the way, you up-sold additional resources or plan options to one or more of those 100 accounts? You don't want to deny these "customized" accounts the latest features of your improved "Silver Plan". What is a busy web host to do?

With Cheetah's innovative "Account Ad-hocing" abilities, you can be flexible and efficient.

Simply use the "Upgrade" feature to apply any new additions or increases of any plan to any account created using that plan. Up-sold features remain as they are and the customer gets all the latest value your updated plan now offers.

Alternatively, Cheetah offers a "Sync Account" feature that replaces all options of any account under a given plan with the current plan's configuration. A perfect 1:1 synchronization.

Either of these are done easily, with minimal effort, leaving you more time to manage your business.

Looking Forward: Beta Phase

Looking back at 2009, the road we have taken with Cheetah has not been easy. We knew going into this project that there were many challenges to overcome in order to meet our ambitious expectations for Cheetah's key attributes: speed, ease of use and efficiency.

Through it all, we remain committed to releasing a quality product that we can be proud of and that our customers will feel empowered to use. Originally, we were looking at a late November 2009 window for getting our beta program completely fired up. However, due to some additional time and resources needed to get Cheetah off to a proper start, we have re-examined and re-prioritized our plan.

We are excited to announce that our projection for beta is early 2010 with a planned release sometime in the middle of the year.

More to come!
